GroveSite is pleased to announce significant upgrades to its collaboration tools and platform.
(1) ONLINE RELATIONAL DATABASES: To a small group of users, we released a major upgrade to our online database software. For all existing database pages, this includes a newer look, filtering, multiple sort selection, definition of custom views, ‘in place refresh,’ multiple improvements to the Quick Edit, and streamlined importing/exporting of records. Excitingly, we have also transformed the database capability to include relational data tables and functionality e.g. the ability to define an online database with a parent-child database structure (sometimes referred to as sub-tables). For example, this enables you to track multiple samples for a single merchandise product, or multiple detail lines for a single order, or multiple service requests for a single customer account.
Initially, the database enhancements are only available to users who have requested to be part of the BETA group. After approximately 4-6 weeks, we will make the enhancements available to all GroveSite clients. If you would like to be part of the BETA group, please contact email@example.com .
(2) GROVESITE FILE LIBRARY: The File Library is one of our most-widely used collaborative tools. We’ve streamlined the Document Check-Out/Check-In process, added filtering and multiple sort selection, made page display and refresh faster, and added a newer look. To learn more about what is new, please visit our Help Desk at http://grovesite.com/grove/gshelp/FileLibNew . These enhancements will be instantly available to all GroveSite users.
